(চিত্ররূপময়) A Bengali aesthetic concept referring to the intensely image-laden quality of poetry. It translates roughly as “full of pictorial forms” or “imagery-rich.” Scholars use this term to describe Das’s distinctive poetic style — particularly in the Banalata Sen collection — where turning and layering images allows the reader to inhabit the poem’s landscape.
